Menu¶
/{slug}/radmin/menu — categories and products. This is where the menu on the
guest's phone comes from.
Categories¶
Categories first, then products. You can drag categories to reorder them; that is the order on the guest page.
Two settings matter per category:
- Show on the public page
- Turn it off and the category is hidden on the general guest page but still visible when entering through a table QR. Use it for items sold only at the table.
- Time window
- The category only appears within certain hours. Perfect for closing the breakfast menu by itself at 11:00.
Products¶
When adding a product:
- Name and description — separately in four languages (tr/en/fr/nl). A language left empty falls back to the primary language, so entering only Turkish is a valid way to use it.
- Price — in the business's currency.
- Photo — square or close to landscape, well-lit images look best.
- In stock / out of stock — when off the product stays on the menu but cannot be ordered. Use this instead of deleting a sold-out item; turn it back on in the evening.
Product order is changed by dragging too.
Linking to stock¶
You can link a product to stock items: selling an “Ayran” takes one ayran out of stock. Stock decreases by itself as you sell.
See Stock
Bulk import¶
Instead of typing hundreds of products, import them from a file:
- Open the import section on the page.
- Upload your file.
- Check the preview — which row goes to which category, at which price.
- Confirm.
Do not skip the preview
A file imported with the wrong column mapping fills the menu with wrong prices. Verify the price and category of a few rows by eye in the preview.
Change history¶
The history section on the page shows what changed in the menu and when. “Who lowered this product's price” is answered here.
Common questions¶
A product does not appear on the guest page. Check in order: is the product “in stock”, is its category shown on the public page, is the category outside its time window.
The price changed but the guest still sees the old one. An old tab left open on the guest's phone shows the menu as it was when it opened. Reloading is enough.
The English menu comes out empty. If the English fields of product names are empty, the primary language is shown. That is the expected behaviour; it changes by itself as translations are added.
