What's new

Features added in recent updates.

  • Login screen — account chips: The /admin page lists accounts that have signed in on this device as chips; if a PIN is set, the PIN prompt appears instead of the password. An account with a PIN locks to the PIN screen after 10 minutes of inactivity; an account without a PIN is never locked or signed out. See My account

  • Reservations page permission: "Reservations" has been added to the permission matrix. On by default for Cashier and Host roles, off for Waiter. See Users and roles · Staff

  • Table sorting and floors: Tables entered as numbers are listed in numeric order (1, 2 … 10, 11). Floor management with "Add floor" for different dining areas and terraces. See Tables and QR

  • Reservation contact method: Email, SMS, WhatsApp (sent manually from the business's own account) and Phone call options in settings; when more than one is selected, the guest chooses how to be reached in the chat. See Reservations

  • Waiter call — On my way button: When a guest presses "Call waiter" the table turns orange; after going to the table the waiter presses "On my way" to resolve the call. See Waiter · Service

  • Sound alert — toggle and tab notification: The 🔔 icon on the orders page toggles the sound; when a new order arrives with the tab in the background, the tab title flashes 🔔. See Orders

  • Settings — Events tab and phone preview: Events now has its own tab; the live phone preview on the right shows the menu inside a phone frame. See Settings

  • Restaurant-only support: Resto4 now supports only the restaurant type. See Business types

  • Panel header and guide: The two header bars stay fixed while scrolling, the language menu opens above those bars. Guide address is /wiki. See First steps

  • Feedback: Submitting feedback sends an e-mail to the platform administrator.
