Panels¶
Resto4 has four separate screens. The address tells you which one you are in.
1. Guest page — /{slug}¶
Public, no sign-in. This is what opens when a guest scans the QR code. It holds the menu, gallery, about, events and contact sections; you choose which ones appear.
If the address carries table information (?table=…), the page switches to
ordering mode: the cart, the order button, the call-waiter and request-bill
buttons appear.
Details: QR menu and ordering
2. Service panel — /{slug}/waiter¶
A plain, phone- and tablet-friendly screen for waiters. Table board, taking orders, table notes and closing a table. Any staff member with a sign-in can open it.
The Service page inside the panel is the wider version: bill splitting, partial payment and ticket printing live there.
Details: Waiter
3. Business panel — /{slug}/radmin¶
The management panel proper. The pages in the left menu appear or hide according to business type and role permissions:
Dashboard · Orders · Service · Reservations · Stock · Menu · Tables ·
Accounting · Log · Staff · Owner settings · Settings · Announcements · My
account
The top of the panel also carries:
- Notification bell — critical stock and platform announcements.
- Command menu — Ctrl+K (⌘+K on a Mac) to search pages.
- Language and dark mode switches.
4. Platform panel — /management¶
For the Resto4 team only. All businesses, subscriptions, marketing site content, platform announcements and incoming feedback are managed here. Business owners do not see this screen.
When panel access closes¶
- If the subscription is cancelled the panel locks entirely; pages will not open until billing is sorted out.
- If payment is late (past due) the panel works but a permanent warning bar appears at the top.
- If the business has been deactivated the panel address returns 404.
